Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I am John W. Freidenberg, a twenty-three year veteran of the United States Air Force, and a twenty year, retired computer information systems technician, at Southwestern Illinois College, and photographer. Thanks David. I used a filter (plug-in) with Adobe PS to simulate the brush strokes. The original image is just as good, but I've always been in awe of those, who can put paint on canvas...the old fashioned way. This gives me the opportunity to try techniques, that emulate the work of the Masters. And Letchworth is amazing.
