About John Freidenberg
I am John W. Freidenberg, a twenty-three year veteran of the United States Air Force, and a twenty year, recently retired computer information systems technician, at Southwestern Illinois College…and photographer!
Along life’s journey, I have been fascinated with photography.
As you will see, my subjects are varied, and my techniques reflect my desire to try something new, for better or worse.
We view people, places and events differently. With life moving at such a fast pace, it’s good to get off of the carousel, to see what we might have overlooked…as it might not be there, the next time around.
I continue to explore life, photographing what interests and excites me, endeavoring to present unique images to all, willing to share my journey.
My favorite quote: “A true photograph need not be explained, nor can it be contained in words.” - Ansel Adams
